For famous actor Goran Visnjic and his wife Eva this is definitely a year to remember, marked forever by several important events in their lives. Namely, this year the two of them adopted a baby boy, and named him Tin, after the Croatian poet Tin Ujevic.
When the couple decided for a child, they agreed to work on having their own and on adopting a child and it didn’t matter which one would come first. And if naturally conceived baby doesn’t happen for them in the future, Goran Visnjic revealed that they might adopt another baby. Coincidently, Tin Visnjic was born on the exact same date, on which Goran and Eva first met, eleven years ago. The happy pair described their newborn as small and skinny, but already strong and tough. They say Tin enjoys eating, has thick blond hair and big blue eyes, and spend most of the day just sleeping and eating.
Goran and Eva also reveal talking about children, even before they were engaged. Both of them have great relationships with their family and are still very close to them. That is why they wanted their own family to resemble the ones they came from, so they always knew they wanted to have kids. Although they hope that life will give them the blessing of conceiving a baby, they also couldn’t be happier about adopting.
For Goran, becoming a father has put an entirely new perspective of life. The actor Goran Visnjic described the first moment he held his son into his arm, as a gracious life changing experience, unlike anything he has ever felt. He felt really comfortable with Tin and the two of them bonded quickly. The new dad even has a ritual for putting Tin to sleep at night. He has one blanket that goes over her, one that goes by his face, and one that he holds. It’s a father-son little thing.
